Telangana Chief Minister Enumula Revanth Reddy has launched a strong political attack on BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR), making allegations about his treatment of his own sister while questioning his ability to champion the interests of women in the state.
Speaking at a public meeting in Mulugu, Revanth Reddy alleged that KTR had forced his sister to leave his house because he did not want to give her a share of property.
The Chief Minister used the allegation to question KTR’s credibility on issues concerning women and their rights. He asked how a leader who, according to his allegation, could not ensure justice for his own sister could be expected to deliver justice to women across Telangana.
The remarks formed part of a broader attack on the BRS leadership, with Revanth Reddy criticising what he described as family-centred politics and the personal conduct of its leaders.
Property allegation becomes centre of political attack
Revanth Reddy’s comments focused on an alleged dispute involving KTR and his sister. The Chief Minister claimed that the prospect of having to provide a share in property was the reason KTR allegedly forced her out of his home.
The allegation was presented by Revanth Reddy as an example of what he characterised as shortcomings within the BRS leadership.
He questioned the contrast between political claims about protecting women and the conduct he alleged within KTR’s own family.

According to Revanth Reddy, proficiency in foreign languages can help young people access employment opportunities across the world.

Government promises support and training
Revanth Reddy also said the Telangana government was prepared to provide the necessary assistance and training to students and young people who want to develop such skills.
The government, he said, is ready to support youth in acquiring foreign-language capabilities that could help them pursue employment opportunities internationally.
The emphasis on Japanese, German and Korean was presented as part of a broader approach to preparing young people for the evolving global technology sector.
Rather than limiting career preparation to traditional qualifications, the Chief Minister encouraged students to develop additional skills that could help them compete for opportunities beyond Telangana.
He said the state government was ready to provide the support and training required in this direction.
